We were tasked with the AMED project titled ‘Development of an Efficient Production Method for Medicinal Carrots by Quantifying Traditional Cultivation Methods Based on Quality Evaluation Using a New Method’. Our responsibility was to enhance the methods for analyzing the components of medicinal ginsengs. Based on the outcomes of this project, we established Aqas Corporation on March 13, 2023.Our products will enable the visualization of a broad spectrum of components found in plants, thereby contributing to the emergence of new businesses in the realm of untapped resource utilization.

Establishment of AQAS Corporation
A dedicated capillary column for raw drugs has been completed, along with a novel method for the precise analysis of botanical components using this customized column.
Hibino, Kobayashi, Wada, and others are participating in the AMED project, which is focused on ‘Quantifying traditional farming techniques and developing efficient production methods based on the quality assessment of medicinal carrots using novel approaches.’ They have initiated a collaborative effort to develop an HPLC capillary column specifically for raw drugs, given the need to analyze the constituents of medicinal carrots.
